Book Club – 2019 Edition
Reading has always been something I knew the importance of, but it wasn’t until recently that I could commit to reading multiple books a month. I was challenged by Jesse Schaudies, a teammate of mine, to a competition where we would see who could read more books throughout the year. I am happy to report that I won the competition by reading 28 books that ranged from war stories delivered by Naval officers to fiction tales about an apocalyptic future.
I enjoyed everything I read this year but here are my top five favorites:
- Measure What Matters by John Doerr
- Trillion Dollar Coach by Eric Schmidt , Jonathan Rosenberg & Alan Eagle
- Never Settle by Marty Smith
- The Captain Class by Sam Walker
- Creativity Inc. by Ed Catmull
